Role Purpose:
The Digital PR & Content Executive will be responsible for developing and executing digital public relations strategies that promote our brand, drive engagement and links, and enhance our online reputation. In addition, the Digital PR & Content Executive will conduct ongoing research and analysis to identify industry trends and measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns. Using data-driven insights, the manager will optimise content and PR strategies to continually improve engagement, SEO performance, and overall ROI.
This role requires strong writing skills, creativity, and a passion for storytelling in the digital space. They will also be responsible for developing content marketing strategies across the websites.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on digital PR campaigns that gain online coverage. They will also have an interest in the travel industry and be able to keep up with changing trends and news within the media landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write compelling press releases, blog posts, articles, and site content that align with our brand voice and messaging.
- Digital Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of digital PR campaigns that leverage online platforms to reach target audiences and gain links.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure media coverage and foster collaboration.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track media coverage and analyse the effectiveness of PR campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Research and Analysis: Collect and analyse data to provide insight and ideas for campaigns
- Site Editorial: Writing, loading, editing and curating content to be published on the websites
Skills and Experience:
- Training in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in digital PR, communications, journalism or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive attitude with a passion for storytelling and creativity.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SEO best practices and content optimisation.
- Knowledge of analytics tools to measure campaign performance.
- Experience working with CMS systems and tools.
