Accounts Assistant – Finance

I started at Iglu back in 2016 as an admin apprentice. I had just left college and looking for work and thought I'd follow my Interest in travel and join Iglu. Iglu gave me so many opportunities throughout the years as I worked my way unknowingly towards a career in finance and haven't looked back since. I changed my role from Invoicing Administrator in 2019 to Accounts Assistant in the Purchase Ledger team looking after mainly ski and French market supplier’s payments. I was doing this along with my AAT studies. 

I had left not long after Covid-19 had begun but after 2 years outside of Iglu, I had to come back. When a newly created position opened up in 2022, I jumped at the opportunity to return as Accounts Assistant within part of the management accounts team. Since then I have been learning and experiencing the monthly process of management accounts and enjoying it.
