FP&A Analyst

The FP&A Team is responsible for providing a broad range of analysis to the business to influence operational, financial, and strategic decision making. The team gives insight into business performance and makes recommendations to drive improvements.
Reporting directly into the Head of FP&A, the FP&A Analyst is a key role with responsibility for weekly and monthly forecasting and reporting to the business. They are also responsible for ad hoc analysis around key initiatives or opportunities, working closely with key stakeholders
This role is ideal for someone with some experience of and a strong enthusiasm for forecasting and reporting, as well as a strong desire to help drive business performance and strategic KPIs
This role requires the ability to combine an eye for detail with an appreciation of the wider context of business performance, building relationships with colleagues within and outside of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the detailed weekly cash flow forecast, including escrow model for tailor made funds,
- Forecast month end EBITDA, including scenario analysis,
- Produce the monthly flash P&L and analyse variances to budget and forecast,
- Develop and report service line P&Ls,
- Maintain monthly Corporate KPIs, reviewing performance against these,
- Assist in the annual budgeting process,
- Identify opportunities to streamline and develop the reporting suite further as the business grows including through development of reports from out Tableau reporting suite
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience,
- Previous exposure to management accounting / reporting,
- Excellent excel skills,
- Able to understand the commercial drivers of performance and translate these into financial plans,
- Ability to review and improve business and financial processes
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Travel or similar sector eg Retail, Leisure,
- Experience of using data analytics tools (Tableau preferred)

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask,
- Strong attention to detail,
- Ability to manage own time effectively, whilst contributing to the teams’ goals and objectives,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the capability to deal articulately with other team members and the wider business,
- Have an appetite for personal development,
- A team player with a flexible attitude and willingness to help, collaborating with others to achieve a goal,
- The ability to translate financial language to a non-Finance audience,
- A focus on continuous improvement to financial processes,
- Ability to think around issues and look at the wider picture to provide solutions to problems
