We are seeking a Product Owner to help execute the strategic direction and product roadmap for the brands within Iglu.com (Iglu Cruise & Planet Cruise). We are looking for someone who has a desire to build great products, has a keen eye for UX and keeps the customer and data at the heart of any product decision made. The ideal candidate also needs to have a passion for experimentation and be at the forefront of ideation within the product team.
We are looking for someone who can own and develop significant parts of the product roadmap and strategy within www.planetcruise.com.
The role involves working with multiple stakeholders across various functions, so the ideal candidate will have exceptional organisation, communication and influencing skills, and be comfortable meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience of working in a commercial (online) role is essential.

Iglu.com, is a successful and award winning online travel agency specialising in Ski and Cruise holidays. Through our award winning brands Iglu Cruise, Planet Cruise and Iglu Ski, we provide expert service and exceptional ski and cruise holidays to locations around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will join the Product team, which is a mix of product owners, designers & analysts who are responsible for improving the customer & business facing online products. This role is a B2C role.
- Work with product stakeholders to create a clear and compelling vision on desktop and mobile across all of Iglu’s products & brands,
- Execute on projects & initiatives in alignment with the Product team’s tactical and strategic goals,
- Work closely with user research and design teams to understand users’ needs, mindsets and segments,
- Able to drive forward product roadmaps using qualitative & quantitative data and communicate roadmaps across the business,
- Conceive and implement experiments geared towards driving conversion growth.
Work closely with engineers by openly and continuously communicating product vision, delivery objectives, and priorities, - Collaborate with the product designers to ideate and build prototypes for new features,
- Participate in team scrums and sprint planning, define and prioritise tasks (in a set framework), and groom the backlog,
- Be the point of call and take full ownership within the business for your product area,
- Always have a focus on the KPIs that you will be working towards. We encourage ownership at Iglu,
- Understand and champion online ecommerce fundamentals when designing & shipping features to the site,
- Ensure that our customers are able to find the right cruises & prices based on different user personas & customer needs,
- Understand the commercials of the business and keep commercial priorities and campaigns as a key consideration on the product roadmap.
Skills and Experience:
We are looking for the following experience in the candidate:
- At least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager shipping product features directly to customers that deliver measurable results,
- Experience building and optimising websites, keeping user needs, business goals and SEO best practices in mind,
- Experience working with qualitative and quantitative customer insights and capturing these insights via different methods,
- Has run a high volume of AB tests/MVTs and has worked on a conversion optimisation programme within an organisation,
- Demonstrated ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems,
- Experience using a project management tool such as Jira, prototyping tools like Figma & user experience analytics tools like contentsquare/full story,
- Knowledge of all Agile principles,
- Demonstrated experience using data and analytical skills to help solve problems and make decisions,
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders,
- Is a logical thinker and communicator that can simplify complex problems and clearly communicate to bring.
‘Nice to have’ experience:
- Experience working as a Product Owner in the travel sector,
- Experience working in a business with a call centre and online ecommerce platform,
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL,
- Experience working with a voice of customer programme within a company,
- Understanding of the cruise market.
