As a Tailormade Product Executive you are responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of best-in-class cruise tailor made packages, supporting the product manager and wider team.
As a Tailormade Product Executive you are responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of best-in-class cruise tailor made packages, supporting the product manager and wider team.
The Role:
You will help design, create, price and maintain new & existing Tailormade products. You'll work closely with cruise line commercial managers & land-based partners to ensure we maintain our position as the UK leading dynamic Tailor-made cruise specialist operator.
You will also liaise with Sales, Marketing and Operational functions to keep Tailormade evolving and at the very forefront of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- To build, price & maintain a portfolio of Tailormade products to a high degree of accuracy
- Identify gaps in the market and new opportunities and deliver to market in the fastest possible way
- Source applicable content to build & price new products competitively and innovatively
- Merchandise products to optimise sales and margin
- Work with commercial & marketing colleagues to develop campaign activity to maximise returns
- Continually monitor competitor activity to ensure prices and products are best in market
- Manage the risk and liability of TM products balancing margin with potential losses
- More senior individuals will have great ownership of their own destinations or ancillary elements
- More senior individuals will manager more day-to-day ancillary supplier relationships
The Person
- Ambitious, dynamic, enthusiastic and keep to develop - continually striving to improve
- Able to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and ensure the highest degree of accuracy
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal, and a collaborative attitude
- Being a self-starter, to be able to work under own initiative
- Proficient IT, Microsoft Office or G Suite
- Commercially astute with an ability to understand trade-offs between price, margin and risk
- Destination knowledge, specifically cruise related is preferable but not required
- Previous experience in the cruise/travel industry is preferable but not required
