We have a fantastic opportunity to join Iglu Ski as a Senior Digital Marketing Executive - Email, Social and Partnerships. As our Senior Marketing Executive you will be responsible for executing our communications with customers across social and email channels alongside executing partnership plans, this role is varied and rewarding.
Role Purpose:
The ideal candidate will be able to manage work loads across different disciplines whilst constantly striving for improvements and feeding back on performance and results. In a fast paced environment, you will need to be flexible and adaptive.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work autonomously and as part of a team, they will proactively strive for answers and improvements across all aspects of marketing.
Iglu.com, is a successful online travel agency specialising in Ski and Cruise holidays. Through our award winning brands Iglu Cruise, Planet Cruise and Iglu Ski, we provide expert service and exceptional holidays to locations around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being the point of contact and owner of the ski business; email, social and partnerships activity
- Create engaging email and social media copy
- Execute email planner and campaigns looking for opportunities to grow and improve performance of this critical channel. Focusing on acquisition, retention and re-acquisition
- Develop bottom of funnel activity improving conversion and engagement
- Deliver growth in the customer database.
- Explore and exploit email / database opportunities
- Work with external partners to plan and execute creative marketing plans
- Work with affiliates to grow traffic and improve ROI
- Develop and execute social media activity plans
- Analyse market trends and keep up to date with industry best practice
- Carry out Segmentation and A/B testing of the data to optimise OR, CTR and conversion.
- Collaboration with customer facing departments to enhance the overall customer experience
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with cross channel marketing platforms like Adobe Campaign, Salesforce or similar
- Proven track record of working in a fast paced, commercial trading environment
- A good understanding of the current data protection and privacy legislation
- Good Excel skills
- Understanding of social media for business (organic)
- Experience working in a cross-functional commercial environment
- Experience in HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of web analytics (Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics)
- Knowledge of ISPs, filters and postmasters
- Experience with whitelists, blacklists and authentication
- Experience in small dynamic team
