Role Purpose

We are seeking a Product Owner to help drive the strategic direction and product roadmap for the brands within Iglu.com (Iglu Cruise, Iglu Ski & Planet Cruise). We are looking for someone who has a passion for building great products and has a keen eye for UX and keeping the customer and data at the heart of any product decision made.

We are looking for someone who can own and develop significant parts of the product roadmap and strategy within the Product and Design team and drive the development of our customer facing online products  www.igluski.com, www.iglucruise.com & www.planetcruise.com.

The role involves working with multiple stakeholders across various functions, so the ideal candidate will have exceptional organisation, communication and influencing skills, and be comfortable meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience of working in a commercial (preferably online) role is essential.
Key Responsibilities: 
This role will join the Front-End team, which is a mix of developers, designers and product owners who are responsible for improving the customer facing online products.


• Work with product stakeholders to create a clear and compelling vision on desktop and mobile across all of Iglu’s products & brands.
• Define and execute on projects in alignment with the front-end team’s tactical and strategic goals.
• Work closely with user research and design teams to understand users’ needs, mindsets, and segments.
• Able to drive forward and define product roadmaps using qualitative & quantitative data.
• Conceive and implement experiments geared towards driving conversion growth.
• Work closely with engineers by openly and continuously communicating product vision, delivery objectives, and priorities.
• Participate in team scrums and sprint planning, define and prioritize tasks, and groom the backlog.

Skills and Experience: 

We are looking for the following experience in the candidate:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager shipping product features directly to customers.
• Experience building and optimizing site pages, keeping user needs and SEO best practices in mind.
• Experience working with qualitative and quantitative customer insights
• Demonstrated ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems.
• Demonstrated experience using data and analytical skills to help solve problems and make decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers.
• Proven track record of shipping product features that deliver results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL is a plus
